Privacy Policy

Vitrine builds a website from a public Instagram profile at the request of the handle owner. This page explains which data is needed for that, why it is used, where and for how long it is stored, who it is shared with and how you can control it.

1. Who processes the data

The data is processed by the operator of the Vitrine service (the "Service"). Questions, deletion requests and any other messages are accepted at s2kperm@gmail.com.

By using the Service you agree to this policy. If you do not agree with it, do not enter a handle and do not start a build.

2. What data we collect

  • The Instagram username (handle) you enter on the home page.
  • The public content of the profile behind that handle: the profile name and bio, the avatar, posts and their captions, photos and videos, reels and their audio track, comments under the posts, the number of followers and posts.
  • Answers to clarifying questions, if you choose to give them: for example a phone number, an address, messenger links and opening hours.
  • The edit requests you send after the site is built.
  • Technical request data: IP address, interface language, time of the request and browser type. It is needed to protect the Service from abuse and to enforce the limits on the number of builds.

The Service never asks for your Instagram password, never signs in to your account and never posts anything on your behalf. Private profiles are not read.

3. Why the data is needed

  • To build the site: analyze the profile content, identify the niche, write copy in your voice, design the look around your photos and turn kind client comments into testimonials.
  • To show you the build progress and the result on a private link, and after publishing to serve the site at an address like your-handle.vitrine.alexandery.app.
  • To apply the edits you describe in plain words.
  • To ask clarifying questions when the profile lacks details the site needs.
  • To protect the Service from spam and overload by counting builds per address.
  • To show the finished site in the showcase on the home page. This happens only with the consent of the profile owner, and you can opt out at any time by email.

4. Where and how long the data is stored

The data is stored on the servers of the Service. The built site, the build history and your edits are kept for as long as the site exists. Downloaded photos and videos, reel transcripts and other intermediate materials are needed only for the build and may be deleted once it is finished.

To delete the site and all data related to it, write to s2kperm@gmail.com and name the profile handle. We delete the data within a reasonable time, usually within ten days, and confirm the deletion by reply.

5. Who the data is shared with

The site is built by an automated system. For that purpose the profile content is passed to third-party services, in the amount required for a specific build step:

  • Anthropic models (Claude) analyze the profile content, write the copy, assemble the structure and design of the site and apply edits.
  • Apify fetches the public content of the Instagram profile by handle.
  • ElevenLabs transcribes the audio track of the reels so that what you say can be used in the copy.
  • Perplexity searches for public information about your business outside Instagram, such as reviews and mentions.

Each of these services processes data under its own terms. The Service does not sell data and does not pass it to advertising networks. Data may be disclosed only on a lawful request from an authorized body.

6. Cookies and browser storage

The Service uses no advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you on other websites. The browser stores only your chosen interface language (localStorage). The link to the build page contains a random token: it is private, so keep it and do not share it with strangers.

7. Your rights

  • Learn which data about your profile is being processed.
  • Correct inaccuracies on the site: mistakes in facts are fixed for free.
  • Unpublish the site with one click on the status page.
  • Have the site and all data deleted on request by email.
  • Opt out of the showcase on the home page.
  • Demand the removal of a site built from your profile without your consent.

All requests are accepted at s2kperm@gmail.com. A reply usually arrives within ten days.

8. Security

The connection to the Service is protected by HTTPS. Only the administrator of the Service has access to job data. The number of builds per address is limited so that nobody can mass-launch builds from other people's profiles.

9. Age

The Service is intended for adult profile owners who run their business on Instagram. If you learn that the Service has built a site from a child's profile, write to us and we will delete the data.

10. Changes to this policy

A new version is published on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes are additionally noted on the home page.
